How can a country with an advanced space program that’s sent satellites to Mars, the Sun, and the Moon at a fraction of NASA’s costs, armed with dozens of nuclear weapons and one of the world’s strongest militaries, huge breathtaking architecture, thousands of years of history, culture and languages, home to some of the richest and most influential people globally, still struggle with a failing education system, inadequate healthcare, abject poverty, nation wide homelessness, boat loads of corruption in every order of the government and a failing youth ? Just some food for thought.

I would say at least part of it lies in the fact the population keeps on growing at a very exponential rate which its resources seem unable to keep up with.

This also ties into what I just said.

I think overpopulation and cultural attitudes on top of a pretty shitty government

Most indians are short brown ugly smelly niggers

This ties back to the same point. Brahmin Indians arr among the highest IQ group of people right alongside ashkenazi jews and East Asians but at the same time tribal groups in India have very below average IQs.

Good point overpopulation is one of the main problems of India I feel. 99% of Indias problems would just vanish if there were fewer people. That and corruption I would say are the biggest problems

another anglo classic

india was doing very well and was on par with european powers and the ming/qing up until the dutch and then the english took over

when the industrial revolution happened, the power imbalance between britain and indian princes became so big the brits took over

and the exploitation can still be felt today

they will rise to global power status in the next century for sure, insane potential and gdp growth

Large population meaning companies and bussiness can pay low wages and still find people for the job maybe

caste system also plays into it

it stops the middle class from growing which is essential for a big economy

Population. Rather than 1+ billion, 100 million is more than enough and India GDP per capita and average Indian would be as rich as a middle European country.

Just genocide 90% of your population theory.

Apparently, given what’s happening in the west, progressing past feudalism is not necessary.

It was recently freed from British rule give it some time

The Rural Population is the problem. Way less productive and lives off of welfare but these people have upper hand in election results.

I think India is the most beautiful place in the world and i say this despite having seen the street food videos on instagram. I just like the traditional and nature so much, let alone the traditional food.

Curries in general tend to be on either end of the extreme whether it comes to being based or repulsive. From wealth, to attractiveness, to intelligence, to food quality, etc
