How is ramus length correlated with gonial flare or just how the jaw looks from the front?

I wanted to know if there is a correlation between your ramus length and gonial flare or just the way your jaw looks in the front. It's a retarded question ik and I'm obviously assuming the answer is yes but I don't really know.
I think that the only difference it makes in the front is just where the bottom point of your jaw is, like if you have a tall ramus the bottom of your jaw will probably be below your lips and if you have a short ramus it will be above or something like that.
Also I assumed that if you have a taller ramus you'd have flared gonions but there's people like Hullo with a tall ramus with inward gonions and people like Derb with a shorter ramus and flared gonions, but his jaw looks like it ends above his lips from the front which reflects what I said before. However he still has flared gonions and a wide jaw and it also looks like he has large masseters.
Would chewmaxxing be better if you have a taller or shorter ramus?
Can a short ramus look good from the front and can you have flared gonions with a short ramus?
Thanks guys sorry for the stupid question

You are correct that if u have a tall ramus, the bottom of your jaw will sit below your lips and if the ramus is short, it will be closer to or above the lip line.
Another point is that ramus length has nothing to do with whether the gonion is inward or outward, that is determined by the masseter and medial pterygoid attachments.
Hard chewing and things like masseter muscle training can increase bigonial width regardless of how tall the ramus is.

Thank you for the answer brother :)

Do you know if there is anything that determines if hard chewing would look good for someone or if they would just make them look bloated? I see some people taht get a good transformation through that and some where it just makes their jaw round

Could you explain the masseter and medial pterygoid part more? I've never heard about that but it sounds interesting

You're welcome brah

To determine how much hard chewing can affect it, u need to consider the bizygomatic width to bigonial width ratio. If the ratio is near 1, there's no need for further increase, but if its low (meaning a narrow jaw), hard chewing can definitely help.

Ramus length doesnt decide if the jaw angle points inward or outward. That shape is mostly determined by where the chewing muscles (masseter and medial pterygoid) attach and pull
