How is Van Dijk not universally seen as atleast a top 2 cb of all time?

The only argument against him are trophies which is a team achievement anyways. Ramos should have gotten sent off in 3 ucl finals and Thiago Silva is comically overrated but Normies are complaining about Van Dijk being top 3 even though he should be top 1

His team is washed but he's still a top 2 cb itw, he somehow only got dribbled past twice the entire season with an IQlet like Konate next to him + this is an all time ranking

They're saying he shouldn't even be top 5 and that Ramos, Kompany, Vidic and Silva are better than him. I get arguments between him and the 3 that you mentioned but the others don't even come close

Yeah, van Dijk is extremely underrated by people who compare him to those who you mentioned. I never understood the Ramos Van dijk debates, however for Nesta and Beckenbauer, I think he comes just short. He doesn't have the longevity and trophies the other 2 have, but 2018/2019 Van Dijk is the best season from a CB ever.
