Not being confident will burn a lot of opportunities for you.
Then obviously it's not going to do everything by itself

If a HTN then confidence makes all the difference, if a LTN/MTN you have to know your place while being confident (like not acting all hot and shit) as people despise those who act out their looks level (brutal example is tate)

It’s probably legit if you are really confident and have this confidence paired with humor and a likable personality.

But having these three things is not easy to achieve especially if you are already more introverted and not good looking

I know of two examples from back in highschool in that confidence seemed to be perceived as attractive on its own.
A girl from my social circle was into some guy that she found unattractive lookswise, she said he is kinda ugly. Still she was into him because he acted confidently.
Another girl was attracted to me back when i was skinny fat and unkempt because i was acting like a tough guy.
