True bro. The classic 80/20 rule holds true for looksmaxxing. 80% of your possible looks gains will come from 20% of the inputs. To get that last 20%, it's going to require a disproportionate amount of resources. If you are truly MTN, you probably won't get higher than HTN even with devoting your life to looksmaxxing. It's not really worth it, especially because you will probably still be insecure even if you become HTN.

Where does surgery fall then? It’s the only thing that can really make a structural difference but it’s also a couple orders of magnitude more serious financially than anything else.
