all men on my father's side have legit nw 1-1.5 hairlines in their 50's+, meanwhile my mothers side are baldcels and i believe i am balding. this theory definitely holds upive heard this is the most important and unfortunately is the same for me so im worried.
my dads dad had full head of hair till he was 80 but i dont think that matters as the gene is inherited from your mom

The sad truth is that there is no real way of knowing until it does happen. My father still has some hair at 60 so did his father, mother's father was bald. Im currently 23 and no signs of hair loss

You're probably right but well taking supra-physiological doses of testosterone might change things a bit. I'm going to take my chances with it if I see any noticeable balding i'll stop roids immediatelyThe sad truth is that there is no real way of knowing until it does happen.
Keep monitoring it closely and if you notice big changes, take action.
Although, if you got to 23 without hair loss, you'll probably be fine until you're at least in your late thirties.
The ages where most people are hit by this disgusting disease are right at the end of puberty (age 18-20) and around age 40.
