How long does it take for body to tan?

I’ve been in the sun for days now shirtless it’s been hot asf in Europe but only my face and neck are orange the rest of my body is pale

I even walk around all day with tank tops and the part where the sun hits doesn’t even change the tone

the skin on your face is thinner than your body which is why the sun tans easier there than anywhere else

stay a few hours longer in the sun but cover your face/wear a hat for shade and put on sunscreen.
