How long does it take for the bones to remodel?

I'm 16 and my chewing habits affected my face I used to chew on one side.
now I'm chewing on the other side the flat one but I'm wondering how many time will it take because when I started eating on the side that I didn't chew on it used to weird now I kinda got used to it but now I'm wondering how long will it take ? Like one year ?
