My uncle taught me when I was 14 or 15. I've since forgotten. I can remember it being pretty damn hard.

I'm learning on public roads
I only have 1 month insurance

Stick with automatics, electric cars are the future anyway, learning manual is pointless.

Your right but im learning in my dads car and he has manual so it's either learn in a manual or nothing

Ive been shifting bikes since 10 but its sequental so quite different but it took me 15 min Bcuz i took me some time to get a feel for the clutch. I have a gokart aswell so drivning utsedd was never a problem.

Edit: If Anyone think im talking about bicycles consider killing yourself

I'm learning to drive from scratch on a manual.
I only have experience of driving go karts which apparentely has nothing to do with cars according to my auntie

How long did it take you to learn to use the clutch and drive a manual car normally?

You cant drive and they let you do it alone on public roads?
In italy after you pass the theoretic exam you can drive however you must have an experienced driver or instructor next to you.

Just Find an empty parking lot and practice 2 hours everyday , more than that is pointless because you get tired and lose focus .

With an instructor next to me i did like 20 hours, 3 hours a week , then i also did a few hours with my dad in the weekend so overall i did 3 months chilling and i drove perfectly during the exam , you can speed up the process by driving everyday .

It takes the average dude here 20-xxx hours with an instructor. Just to be able to function without caring much about traffic and breaking the clutch, a couple hours.

I’m from the UK and we drive manual over there

It’s easy af, just press in the clutch slowly and then use the stick to choose gear and just use the clutch to brake and when starting up the car to gain speed

True but my dad's cars a manual and in the UK if you want to work with your driving licence your practical test needs to be done in a manual car
