You can lose 10 kg in a month if you are on an unhealthy diet of starvation like me. Wouldn’t recommend.

following what diet
depends on how much you are eating below caloric maintanence, to lose a kg in fat you need to eat 7700 below maintanence, not in a day, but this is how many calories comprise of a kilogram worth of fat.

i’m on 1000cals + clenbuterol
What do you eat everyday?
what’s ur body fat?
I don’t know my body fat percentage, but I am chubby at the moment. I have awful fat storing genetics. I was 52 kg in 2019 and I still had a layer of fat below my belly button, it just wouldn’t leave so I got frustrated and stopped dieting any further since I started from 70 kg. I got to 60 kg in one month but the other 8 kg took me like a month and a half or perhaps even two months, so it wasn’t worth it. And I’m 178 cm, so it was unhealthy to continue further. Now I’m on a diet again, I started from 85 kg but I don’t track my calories. I am drinkfasting today, just got a cup of coffee here, black with no sugar. I’ve also got iced tea and root beer which are both low in calories but I haven’t had that today. I follow the OMAD diet now, skipping today since I woke up kind of late at 5 pm and figured I will eat tomorrow instead. For tomorrow, I’ll just have noodles and that’s it. Like I said, it’s an unhealthy diet of starvation but I do this since I get quicker results this way and that keeps me motivated.

i’m on clen so i shouldn’t lose muscle mass so my metabolism should remain the same
i’m on 1600-1800 cal deficit (eating 1000 and maintenance is 2600 and clen increases calorie burning by 200 cals)

holy fuck thats a lot, yeah you should be losing like 1.25kg per week, but keep in mind your maintanence will go down as you keep cutting so youll have to eat even less in order to lose the same amount after a certain point.

tbh i think unhealthy way may be best lol. if you can get yourself out of the miserable cutting stage as fast as possible, you can get to normal eating faster. results will be quicker. and thats all we want realistically, results. maybe if you eat one mean a day make it protein based, instead of noodles which dont have much nutritional value

what affects maintenance cals? i hear it’s the amount of muscle mass u have and clen prevents muscle loss.

idrk how clen works, but maintenance is affected by height, age, weight etc, the heavier you are, whether it be from muscle or fat the more fuel youll need to move around and do normal shit, and so when you drop even 5kg you can expect a change in maintenance demands, not to mention your body gets better at partitioning calories n shit.

That’s a healthy diet, 1000 kcal/day is at least healthy enough because you are getting the proper nutrients.

Completely agreed. Results is what we aim for, so that’s why I do this even though everyone says it’s unhealthy. The trick is to not start overeating. I incorporated drinkfasting in every week except for this one (today is an exception). The reason I’m having noodles tomorrow is because two days ago, I had a burger meal and an extra burger on the side. Yesterday, I had some goat meat. So I try to switch it up. I think OMAD is ideal because you get to eat whatever you want, even if it’s unhealthy. I also think it’s healthy to switch it up, so I had two days of proteins, then a day of drinkfasting (I only drink whenever I feel thirsty and even then, it’s not a lot) and tomorrow a day of carbs (I think noodles are carbs).

yes, tbf OMAD is the way to go, u can eat what u want and it is very unlikely you'll eat over maintenance, though when i see food I just wanna eat it jfl, so i try eat little but more often. luckily foods high in protein are low cals, and also pretty satiating. The thing is with such low calories that we are both eating, are we hindering future fat loss gains through lowering metabolism. I'm not sure what affects metabolism tbh (maybe you can tag someone, idk who) but consensus is when u eat such low cals, your maintenence decreases where so less fat is lost even though u eat same amount of cals, the deficit will be smaller, so less fat lost, to the point where i see threads sometimes where people be saying "im eating 1500 cals and cant lose weight" jfl. maybe they just count wrong. idk.

OMAD is genuinely the best diet if you ask me, but dietists call it an “extreme form of dieting.” Wait until they hear about my drinkfasting tactics. :feelshaha: Don’t know anything about metabolism except that mine was a lot faster during my teenage years because I munched on junk food a lot and I was still underweight. The thing about dieting is that your body gets used to it, so you end up losing less weight even if you spend an entire day not eating. I drinkfasted for 5 days recently and when I ate last Saturday, I was munching on 400 grams of Korean fried chicken, a few slices of a large pizza (35 centimeters) and sushi. I was already full after the first slice of pizza but I still ate more and the sushi as well, but it was too much so I took the sushi home with me and had it for dinner the next day. I thought I had gained +2.5 kg from all that eating (I measure before and after eating as well) but instead it was 1.2 kg, though by the time I woke up the next day and weighed myself, my weight was almost the same as the moment before I had that chicken, pizza and sushi.

from checking calculator.net (obviously not v accurate), a decrease in bodyweight of 10kg only affects bmr by 50 cals, so i think there is other stuff in play

so they key is changing/not keeping diet constant u think? so it doesnt get used to what ur doing.
like eat 1000 one day, maybe 500 another (jfl), and other days nothing for example?

Exactly. Keep changing it up, you’ll notice when your body gets used to it because I would lose around 0.5 to 0.7 kg a day but then suddenly it would be 0.3 kg or less. If I don’t change my diet, then it would be the same or even less than the day before. That means I’ve got to change it up. I don’t track calories, but if you ate little and the loss is little as well, then eat more the next day. Eat a burger meal. Then the next day, don’t go back to having a burger meal, which is the hardest part if you’ve not trained yourself for it. Because if you have another burger meal, you are compensating for what you didn’t eat the days before and then you just gain weight again basically. However I just recently started with OMAD, once I have more information in terms of my own experiences then I’ll let you know.

would love to hear, thanks man, ill do the same.

would u put a limit to how much u can eat in a day in terms of cals? like obviully at minimum you can eat noting, and max calories say you'll never eat above bmr or above maintenance cals in a day.

roughly how long do you think it would take to drop from 20% to 10%. many people have said it will take 6 months with a 500 calorie deficit
Screenshot 2024 05 29 173330

with that, 500 cals x 6months = 84000calories that need to be burned
if we assume on averahe we are 1500 deficit
84000/1500 = 56 days to get from 20% to 10%
does this seem accurate?

Well, I won’t be tracking calories because I used to do that years ago and I don’t like it at all. If there’s a limit, it’s about the quantity. Instead of two burger meals, I’d have one burger meal. Instead of two large pizzas, just one large pizza. That kind of stuff.

Instead of using percentages, you should use weights. That way, it’s easier to answer for me. For example, what is 20% in terms of kg exactly? 70? 80? 90? It depends on the person. And how much kg you want to lose. I lost 10 kg in one month before but I don’t know how much body fat percentage change there was since I never measured that. I also went from 70 kg to 52 kg which was 18 kg. I think that took between two and three months in total. The first month was the quickest but I don’t recall what kind of food I was eating. It was 5 years ago.

yeah maybe doing weight is the best way. i need to ideally lose 24 pounds of fat jfl. that should bring me to proper 10% body fat. gonna be classified as anorexic by any test possible jfl.

I just checked. 24 lbs is 10.8 kg. I basically lost 10 kg in one month, so you can do it in a month. Though I was never concerned with maintaining muscle as I was not athletic and I just wanted to get rid of body weight, no matter in what form. And yeah, they might call you anorexic but some of the most aesthetic bodies I’ve seen looked that way. Look up Cam Gigandet in Never Back Down (2008), I really like his body even though I can never get it because the lower belly fat just won’t go away. Unless I start sporting, but I’m too lazy for that. :feelshaha:

yeah i ideally wanna only lose fat. 10% in 1 month from 20% would be incredible. but i think to do it in a month, and it be pure fat loss you’d need dnp or something. i will try extend it over 2 months i think so that i can preserve as much muscle as possible. i try do some cardio daily, walking mainly try burn an extra 500 a day which will accumulate to decent fat loss over time.

It was years ago and I wanted to see if I got an eightpack or not. I won’t have an answer to that question because it just didn’t go away. I already went from 70 kg to 52 kg and there’s no way I had the motivation to continue. Chances are even at 45 kg I would have it. I did have a sixpack despite the belly fat though, so chances are high I got an eightpack. :feelsgood:

Yeah, I get what you’re saying. You can do it over two months as well, might be better in the long-term to do it slow and steady. I’m not focused on muscles since I’m not a gymbhai. All my fat loss comes from dieting but it would be a lot better if I ran or whatever.
