How long is the process of getting Bimax

As title suggests, i have been looking into double jaw surgery for a few years now, i have a recessed mandible and short lower third which fucks my side profile and makes my face look squished. How lengthy is the process of getting jaw surgery from getting braces on initially to surgery and recovery?

sort of, i had braces in my early teens and the ortho fixed my overbite so it wasnt noticeable, however my recession was left untouched

I had braces and got them off when i was 14. my retainer doesnt fit though because i barely wore it much so my teeth have changed. Would this speed up the process?

I would say be careful with bimax, you can fuck your face up, chimpmax and destroy your harmony.
