How long till 3b~ curls start falling down and not puffing up like a mushroom

I got around 15-20cm curls i grew it out from a low taper like 10 months ago and its lowkey a bit of a mushroom anybody know first of all how to make it grow faster and secondly how long until it naturally stops puffing up and starts falling?

Use rosemary oil to grow it faster, and use some shit like leave in and gel then comb them down so they fall

I use leave in and curl cream but its only falling down when its got a gell cast after i scrunch it out it goes back to puffing up a bit but im just tryna grow it out until its like my upper back length sorta richard ramirez ish style

do brush styling and don't play with ur hair until it is 100% dry, also if you don't have layers get them, layers are the best fix tbh

I'll try brush styling but i dont really trust barbers my usual barber fucked me up that's why i grew my hair out idk if he even knows how to layer he usually just does fades so maybe i just dont touch it

go to tiktok and search for curly hair barber or leyers for curly hair and add your city or contry name you will find a bunch of barbers that can do layers and tell them to not cut that long
