But most species don't kill their members, they kill other species.
So it's natural for humans to kill other animals to survive but is not natural to kill babies because the mother wanted to.

One of my female friends killed a gerbil with her and while laughing at it and filming it to humiliate it for no reason, it was disturbing how she ended it’s life in such a.m humiliating way, gerbil was male too

We used to capture insects and throw them into ant hills to watch the ants disassemble and kill the other bug (butterflies, gasshoppers n shit, we put a rock on the butterflies wing so he doesnt fly away) at the daycare when I was like 11

We would also make a little island surrounded by water in the sandpit and place ants inside. Then we would cause "disasters" like throwing rocks at the island to simulate asteroids or cause floods by pouring more water in.

I would also spray pepper-spray at spiders in my bedroom (my bedroom at one point was in the basement which was full of large spiders), which would cause them to violently convulse before dying after a few seconds.

Apart from bugs the only animal I killed was a fish with a fish-beating-stick ("fish bat" / "anglers priest") after my dad caught it with a fishing-rod
