Title, and what is the average?

No measurent will ever matter in a vaccum

It's hard to say because it depends on the anatomy of the person, bro, even with a tiny little mandible if your wrists are small. clavs narrow with tiny ass feet, a tiny ribcage, and a tiny femur, and it will look like you have the mandible of a hippo same goes for other body parts

Measure Frankfurt plane angle

This

Measure from the radix down perpendicular to the ground
whatever part of the mandible passes [including chin] is the forward growth

You should have atleast 10mm+ of projection here, especially have a good Facial convexity angle

The maxillary

The maxillary
The maxillary G Frankfurt plane projection is ideally is 5-15mm, so, in most contexts, since the mandible tends to be latest 5mm longer, you need 10mm-25mm of frankfrut plane angle protrusion

How do you even do that?

It does, unless ur other features are very good
Averageness is crucial. You can't have an insane forward growth, while having a shit brow ridge. Then you just fuck your facial convexity

It wont, because a visul effect will always be relative to other features, the word long is a relative adjective, nothing can ever be long in isolation

You can see from the front of his eye [start of radix] the line that goes down. Then it ends near the mouth, where the red line appears.

This red line is your projection. You measure this by MM. The ideal range is 5mm-15mm, too short is recession, too long is horseface [even without cw[w]r/compactness]

Now, that is the measurement for the maxilla

So in principle, you should do the same for the mandible, except, the ideal range is 10mm-20mm

In Carson's case, his mandible is fairly projected, but not too much further from his maxilla. His maxillary projection should be around 9.5mm+, while's mandible 12mm+

Usually it's impossible to measure with mm in software, but since you can IRL, you can do it, well IRL

And faceiq labs also does this If you wanted to know

There's other things... like facial convexity projection to measure the general forward growth, or (total) facial convexity itself
