None of my sports are going on right now, so I can every day. i've been doing mom-thursday, is this optimal?

Inb4 we find out OP has been doing 20-25 sets per muscle group per session all of which are to failure.“The number of days you train per week doesn’t matter, nor does the split you choose
This is the most scientifically supported optimal routine based on recent data:
Do 14-16 hard sets (84% of 1rm) per muscle group per week and hit each muscle group twice a week. Your last set for each workout should be performed to muscular failure
