How many grafts will I need for full coverage via hair transplant. How many grafts could my donor area reasonably produce?

I see. One thing that adds to my fear in hair transplant Facebook groups I get very harsh estimates. Some calculate that I need 6000 to cover my bald spots yet then say "your donor area can only provide about 4500 grafts". The surgeons on Facebook are very bearish however the looksmaxx community is very bullish on how far I can go. I hope the latter is correct.

For both you might need a little more.

it will cover ok but issue could just be density.

4.5k to 6k sounds about right, |i havent gotten one done myself yet but have heard horror stories about not going to cheap places that will promise 4k plus grafts and will just overharvest you, so you can never get another transplant.
