Depends on age, training, nutrition, ect. There is no straight forward answer.
 
could prolly add an inch to each shoulder in width, 2 inches is more significant than you might think though. difference from average to 95th percentile biacromidal breadth is under 2 inches, so gymceling is real

Stop questioning that bullshit and just lift, it has a myriad of other benefits besides shoulder width.
 
2 inches after 9 years of hard training if you are lucky
 
Easily 2 inches of width within a year if you train your lateral delts thrice a week.
