The bone can be lengthenend infinitely. Soft tissue mostly not but it regenerates after some time.
Dwarfs are known to have gotten as much as 40cm LLs but this is over their entire life starting in childhood.
Realistically, if you have all the money and time,
you can do 20cm relatively savely at a cost of about 200k in 4 years.
Step one, do 6-7cm femur LL
Step two, after 1 year do 4cm tibia LL and maybe rebreak femur after completing tibia
Step three, remove femur implant, do another rebreak of tibia for 4cm after 1 year
Step four, after 1 year get another 4cm femur LL
With this method you will almost certenly retain at least 90% of your athletisim if you stop tibia when you develop balerina foot that requires a release. Never do a release on tibia or its over for you
