Well, I was very active at that point so my Elo was superb and I guess having been paying for Platinum and gold the first two months also put me as a higher value user

tbf that makes sense- also being GL boosts elo as well so its like a double whammy- you get a higher % of swipe right AND you get shown to more girls.

So maybe Im getting 5% right swiped shown to 100 girls- whereas you get 80% swipe right but also shown to 400 girls JFL (plucked the numbers out of thin air to illustrate the point btw)
