How many mm of Maxilla advancement should you look for if advancing maxilla with no rotation?

Is philtrum guaranteed to appear larger with greater advancement?

Yeah like how tf are we supposed to know how many mm you need without a scan? People have varying degrees of recession. Idk I guess some people just assume there is some blanket rule.

I have a scan
I made this thread because I remember reading a thread here some time ago where people were saying that anything more than 5mm straight advancement would look uncanny and that rotation should be prioritized.
I found this surprising because the lookism mantra was always that the riskier and more excessive options would mean more mogger results.

Still a case by case thing, get a few surgeons to do plans and see which you like
