I agree, but I don’t have a problem with that. Actually, since I’m recovering from anhedonia I have the issue of getting reward from trying.

I struggled a lot overcoming easy dopamine. It made really hard making changes because those generate in that moment only 1/10th of the dopamine you get just doomscrolling. I forced myself to be busy by joining classes or trainings with more people and reset what makes me feel good.

I’m recovering from substance abuse plus heavy porn use, and AD meds damage. but yeah I get you. My reward systems are blown out, but it’s getting better. It’s not just “easy dopamine” thats my problem.

I never wish this on my worst enemy.
