I could have if i wanted, there are girls approaching me in school (even girls that i used to fight with in the past) but i push them away, today 2 girls approached me (in a friendly way) and i actually responded in a nice way instead of completely ignoring them or even worse cussing at them as i usually do

I've got a few girl acquaintances, but I wouldn't consider any of them actual friends. I can imagine that's how it is for most guys, you get to be one of the 3 types girls interact with:
1.Acquaintances
2.Jester/Orbiter
3.Potential boyfriend/fling

I honestly can't think of any of my friends having actual girl friends now that we are in our 20s and no longer in college(and none of them are forum dwellers like me, quite the opposite actually). Think about it: when was the last time you saw a grown ass man and a grown ass woman(not teenagers or college students, just two grown ups in their early 20s and above) hanging out platonically? Faggots don't count ofc.

Most of my friends are women. It is easier to get more open and honest conversation out of them. My guy friends are fun and I drink with them and shoot the shit, but they are more closed off
