yes, it's safe. I used to take it everytime I hooked up/ONS especially when coming from a party drunk af. Only side effects I experienced were congested nose, rosy cheeks and increased sweating. Not everytime, but sometimes and more so when I took 20mg instead of 10mg.

also buy the 20mg pills and then cut them into halfs, it is cheaper that way
