I'm currently trying to rebuild a wardrobe from scratch. I have too many pants right now and need to declutter my wardrobe. I want to wear every clothing item I buy regularly so I don't end up wasting my money.

Inb4 "clothes don't matter to women". Yes, I know clothes don't matter but I want to dress well because I like dressing well. And I want to build a decent wardrobe, so I don't look like I'm broke by wearing the same clothes very often.

I think even the poorest of people own at least 3 pants.

Questions -

1. How many pants do you guys own?
2. How many pants from your total collection of pants do you regularly see yourself wearing?
3. How many pants do you guys think you need in your wardrobe to feel like you have enough pants for a good number of outfits?
4. What's the minimum number of pants do you think one should own?
