Deserve means to rightfully earn an object like a trophy or a ticket to an event because you paid for it. The only one thing that shares in common is your ‘right’ to win the trophy or you have the ‘right’ to go to the event because you paid for it.

If you have the ‘right’ to go to heaven that must mean you deserve to go to heaven because of your religious lifestyle

A person that thinks they deserve to go to heaven is not truly religious they protect themselves with out offering up anything for eternal salvation

True. But the point that "religious people believe they don’t deserve heaven" means that they don’t believe they won’t go to heaven because of humans ingrained nature to sin.

Religious people acknowledge that if they believe in Jesus Christ for example only through his teachings, faith and belief of the resurrection they ‘might’ enter not that they believe they will

As I said in the title if you believe you will make it to heaven by committing acts thats are in line with the faith and accepting whoever your religious figure is if you believe that you deserve heaven because you are innately blessed or free from sin you will be placed in purgatory or hell

There are people who believe that if they commit the ‘right’ acts that are aligned with their religious rules and the faith, accepting their religious figure also they will go to heaven. But this is the sin of pride because you’re humanly bound to sin, we were taught that repentance is asking God for forgiveness to turn our hearts in the right direction.

But you’re not going to realistically repent after every sin you commit whether it’s a swear word or indulging in sinful activities.

To go to heaven you must live with humility, where that consists of believing only the Lord can save you not yourself through your acts alone.

if i were to die right now id get sent to hell most likely
maybe if i turn my life around and u ask me the same question 10 years from now i would say yes

You repent when you are truly sorry gods grace is not given as a simple I said sorry it will be gifted in true repentance true heart ache but those small accumulation sins over your lifetime can be forgiven by the grace of Jesus and accepting the truth that he died so we could be free

Those "small sins" build up over time and lead to an ultimately sinful life, you start swearing, you start surrounding with other people who swear a lot, who most commonly smoke and drink and then you damage your body that the Holy Spirit is in you. You’re assuming that the grace of Jesus is forgiving your "small sins" but you don’t know it for a fact because he warned about indulging in sinful activities which there is a lot to that branch.

That brings back to the main ideology that no human is free of sin of course people cut that stuff out of there life but everyone has sinned the small sins I agree are impactful and still against what God has intended but if you truly accept Jesus and visit church pray and repent you will have repented against what you have previously done

We can only assume that logically but it’s ultimately to divine judgement. Our life’s have been given free will and yes one can think about the idea if someone does things accordingly they will go to heaven but realistically you never know they might go astray.

But in the supposition that someone can live a life accordingly you can say only logically assume they will go to heaven. Only because it’s not our call to make, however yes theoretically they would go to heaven depending on the circumstance.

I agree we must leave it all up to divine intervention
