Assuming you are 5'10" and without much muscle mass you would need to reach 137lb to be 10% bf. A loss of 28 pounds. At a deficiency of 500 calories a day you will lose ~1 pound a week. So it will take 28 weeks to reach 10%.

Exercise will increase your metabolism, but also your overall fatigue and stress, of course since your metabolism is higher if you keep your calories the same you'll be in something like a 1,000 calorie deficit, so you'll need to adjust accordingly.

what g ive been in a 1700 calorie deficit for months

0 lbs

weight loss and body recomp aren't the same

You would need to lose about 13lb of fat. Of course when you're actually cutting you're not going to lose pure fat, and will also lose a bit of muscle so you'll end up needing to lose more than that.
