I heard the general rule is that if it's < 1 year, they won't bother to check too much into it. Has anyone faked 2+ years and the employer didn't check?

Oof. Yeah they might look into your background to actually tell where you got the experience. Tossup on that one tbh
srs, even for mid-sized companies? I mean i have references, but if im asked to provide tax or pay stubs, then im fcked, hmmm my brother didn't get a background check at all tho when he applied to a mid sized company

Are you talking about your entire career, or just saying that your currently employed at a job for longer than you have been?

I've lied about a couple jobs, I make them look better by flowing into each other without gaps in employment. For example, seasonal jobs lasting for a month longer, working at places for longer than I did.

But also, im a young dude still and have only worked at about 5 different companies so far. Hope this helps a bit, i've never ever had to put in my taxes or pay stubs for a job that sounds odd to me, only thing they've done is call my references.

Depends on how good of a liar you are. If you are as good in lying as Indians and Med here in this forum larping as white, then yeah you should be good.

I know how to code, so i figure i could pick all of the tech involved relatively quickly either before the job on-boarding or on the job

passing interviews isn't thatt difficult, u need to sound smart, I watch alot nick fuentes / other ppl who sounds smart af, so i've been ingrained with that certain style of intelligent speaking manerisms. I just need to adaquete prep as in write some kind of script/notes that i'll regurgitate in the interview and i'll be fine
