if you have a gummy smile then i think they can shorten it a little or excessive amount of vertical tooth show, maybe a shortening genioplasty. i'm not really sure though. i just know a standard posterior downgraft CCWr doesn't shorten it.

then it's probably just limited by how much they can move your teeth up. you could get shortening genio too probably
