Completely depends on diet etc. Most people put an arbitrary number on it, that is far from the case. If you're training every body part (including calves, forearms, neck or accessories), eating clean food at least every 3 hours, supplementing creatine, building up volume and progressively overloading lifts then there is no reason you wouldn't be able to gain 10kg of pure muscle in a year.

Greg doucette is a clown ignore his shit. Most people in year 1 put on 8-12 pounds cuz they train and eat like shit. If you have perfect diet, training and sleep there is no reason you can't add 20 pounds in a year (yes you can't have shit genetics). However, the quicker you progress in the first year, the quicker you will plateau (as your body can only have x amount of muscle).

Lool, I agree. Greg Doucette hyperbolises everything to prop his own ego. He acts as if a decent physique is not achievable natty... just so he can indirectly state he is one of the lucky few to have above average genetics. He talks as if Seid has 1 in a million genetics... and he is 100% serious. The reality is that a Seid level physique is attainable natty for at least 3% of the population...

Honestly he is an insufferable and insecure manlet.

Absolutely. Every time he debates someone who was more successful then him in bodybuilding (lee priest, fouad etc) it comes down to "his genetics are just better than mine but I have top 1% genetics). It's such a cop out just because he ate and trained like a pussy his whole career.
 
i workout 6 days in a week, and i have shitty diet. even i gained more than 9kg in a year.
1 year hard workout with proper diet can make you gain 10-12kg. maybe even more if you are young and a newbie.

Because he's so insecure that he has to try brag wherever he can. Complete manlet, failure of a bodybuilder and somehow now popular and mainstream.

I am the biggest bodybuilding failure EVER. From 18-23 i was so huge and ripped natural, that everybody speculated if a am natty or not.
I had perfect body. Then with 23 i developed strong depression+hairloss and startet to rapidly loose muscle and gain fat. I went to the gym 4 times per week, but literally had no enery to lift heavy weight. I got fatter and fatter, and started a diet. The reason was low t (270ng/dl) maybe caused by depression.
Now i am 10kg lighter and still skinny fat. 27yrs old :(((( Finasteride raised my t, but i still dont have power, and cant build any muscles.
Imagine training 9 years, and still looking like a untrained potato. Its hell on earth for me.
