How much can you realistically lie on a resume?

Haven't worked a real job in 2 years and just have been running a business and side hustles. I want to lie my way into a good job this summer

I have a great resume but no real experience other than running my own business

I wanna lie and be as slimy as possible but I don't know how to do it without getting caught

References are overrated imho.
But yes, fake experience that is difficult/impossible to verify because 99/100 employers won't go to the effort for a job that doesn't require a degree or certification.

If you can run a business I think you can get a job easily, unless you have a criminal record or something which seems to be what you're describing because I don't think you gotta lie all that often for a 'normal' job

Good question but idrk the answer so imma watch the thread, as for me, you can lie only as long as you won't get exposed or get into serious trouble
