How much cardio is ideal?

I got back to ppl 3 times a week but 4 rest days are too much so I will start cardio again, how much is ideal to not strain your heart? Also should I do high intensity like sprint or low intensity endurance like jogging?
 
Are you a fatgot/trying to lose weight? If not 1-2 times a week?
