How many calories lost in cardio is too much in a day?

it depends on your maintenance and your intake

at the end just don't exceed a 500 calorie deficit

What is cardio for you? It's hard to achieve a good expenditure of energy in what you're used to doing. I've been doing cardio on ellipsoid for over a year, so I'm used to it and can walk up to 3-4 hours a day without discomfort. If I were doing a new kind of cardio for myself, I would limit myself to an hour a day.

My cardio is on a track.
 
1 hr walk a day its the best exercise u can do for ur health
 
dont go over 4 hrs a week
 
your body needs to recover from cardio sessions to not get overtraining
if you are not talking about weight then really there is no limit as long as your body handles it
remember to eat enough carbs
i reccomend eating complex carbs 4-6 hours before to fuel the workout
just weight yourself weekly and if you are losing too much then you do too much
