How much customization does an airway-based bimax allow?

Blue pilled ortho fucked my airway over.

I’ve seen two oral surgeons so far; one is more aesthetics-focused and another works well for airway-based work.

Aesthetic focused surgeon really emphasized CCW rotation,

Airway focused surgeon seemed more overall knowledgeable and function-driven.

I’m really not sure who to choose, I preferred the airway focused surgeon but am worried about CCW rotation and voicing my opinion.

TLDR: Can you voice your preferences in an airway focused bimax?

This is what happens when you have an in network insurance surgeon who only focuses on airway.

Most people need CCW or CW rotation and it can be considered “cosmetic” which is why low skilled surgeons pull this shit. but for me it’s effecting my bite so I actually need it.

That’s a good position to be in.

I asked my orthadontist for my medical records, and saw an X-ray of my airway when I was 12, it was so debilitatingly narrow and my ortho did nothing, and I had no clue and assumed all the symptoms of a narrow airway were normal.

I threw up from stress when I saw it the first time.

This site legitimately saved my life, I would have no idea why I have the constant symptoms of a narrow airway.

I’m going to dental school next year

You can do CCW rotation if your bite plane is more than 12 degrees down and if your gonial angle exceeds 135 degrees or so

I will realistically be offered CCW as it was the first thing mentioned from the first surgeon I saw, my bite is so fucked from mouth breathing in early teens because of a narrow airway.

This is one of the best ascensions I’ve seen.

Trimax with CCW, I’m hoping my procedure goes as well as hers.

Yes if you look like that you must have CCW, do not accept a straight advancement.
