Not cope in his case since he doesnt have maxillary cant and his lower jaw wasnt a limiting factor.
I would use the incisor tooth as a frame of reference to estimate expansion, most being about 10mm wide.

I think the other limiting factor is if the cheekbones are rotated inwards (like NCT zygos) since the zygo buttress puts extreme resistance on expansion but the guy in the pic seems to have good zygo/eye area. If you look at his lateral brow bone area its horizontal, so everything below that will benefit from a predictable and therapeutic expansion. He has a good base

I think high set cheekbones with low mass are ideal for the best MSE results. Least amount of resistance possible.

Soft tissues arent sagging, the hair of the lateral aspect of the brow hairs aren't stretched too much. When the zygos are low set from inwards rotation from a nct the soft tissues of the midface are shifted down but guy in pic seems to have good support. I was mostly inferring based off of how I know my own soft tissues work (that was my scan) but I could be wrong.

He was a good candidate to gain more asthetic benefits.

its kinda hard tell since I got 8mm but I noticed a small uncanny IPD change. I cant be sure if it had any positive impact but Im sure it would be more apparent if I had more expansion but Im leaning towards it having a slight negative impact on aesthetics.

looks like 8-10 max. Usually a good metric when judging by eye is that insicor teeth are about 10mm wide.

You can tip the upper teeth inward after expansion, but if your lower arch is not wider you won’t be able to expand much.
MSDO or IMDO to fix the discrepancy
