How much do you avoid sun while on accutane?

I'm on accutane too yea I don't go outside when uv index is above 5. Even a suncream can't protect 100% you from the UV ray.

same, but sometimes i have stuff to do outside which is fucking annoying while on accutane and i can't postpone it for nighttime

Accutane doesn’t make the sun magically deadlier, it just thins your stratum corneum and dries your sebaceous glands so you burn easier. Sunscreen still works like physics says – SPF50 blocks ~98% of UVB – but you need to be diligent: apply a broad‑spectrum cream 20 min before, reapply every couple of hours, wear a hat and sleeves and try to avoid the midday blast. The bigger risk is that sunburn on retinoids leaves hyper‑pigmentation and scars. You don’t have to live like a vampire, just respect that your skin has lost some of its protection. If you’re doing manual labour outside, moisturise afterwards and maybe talk to your derm about adjusting the dose.

Honestly I completely avoid it where I can and I always wear spf50 pa++++

Same I had to outside today just to buy stuff I just smear sunscreen before going outside (you don't have to be serious that much on accutane bro I'm on accutane and got my PRP treatment+ micro needling last 3 days that's the reason why I hate going outside)
