How much do you guys earn a year?

I'm on £40k. Like half of that is from disability for muh depression and the other half is from working construction part time. If i wanted to, i could push it to £60k. But I see no reason. My rent and bills are paid and I can survive easily on £40k and save for various surgeries

currently a student but i earn more than most students off of scholarships.

Its variable but 20-30k

tuition is about 9k yearly.

i also have a PT job that pulls abt an additional 5k a year.

fair enough. unfortunately in a globalized capitalist system, skill is all that matters. If American firms don't hire them, they'll be working in tokyo/hk/singapore firms which is a loss for citadel, jane street, etc. DEI black kids I wouldn't worry about though, there's no hand holding in quant.

University is the start of everything. If you don't graduate from the right universities it's over.

I missed the grade for admission at a very elite university by just a few marks, but I heard of so many DEI kids getting in with 2 grades lower.

Shit is unfair. But it's all good, I will live off the tax payers

I don't even know. I don't even care. I don't look at life that way.

All I care about is if I got enough money laying around to where I could pick up and leave where I'm at, then survive for a year without having to work. I round up for projected expenses so I'll always have at least that much.

I've never wondered how much I make a year.y wife is my accountant and she takes care of all that documentation for when we got to see the tax man.
