When I took GCSEs , I averaged 8s in all my subjects, however having now been medicated and having spent a lot more time on my a levels and further work I tried a past paper for economics, which is something I've never studied before and got a low 9. Although this could somewhat be explained by my other subjects having similar reasoning skills it really has me thinking about how much smarter you can become just through training your brain. Most ppl on here seem to have quite a deterministic approach to the idea of iq, where it's "decided from birth" but I'm really not sure if that's the case, does anyone have any similar experiences with it?
