Yeah gaining isn’t easy, I strvemaxxed in the winter and got down to 129, ate regularly back up to my normal weight but now won’t go up

I feel like after being heavier from lifting weights, and coming back down to around 165lbs, I don't really notice much difference in my strength but my endurance and recovery seems to have really improved. I think a lot of muscle, even though it might look good, is a real tax on the body. I find it interesting that if you look at pictures of special forces soldiers, french legion, navy seals, those types of groups, they are almost always fairly thin even though they carry around lots of gear and are very strong

Yeah I guess maybe they do other forms of strength training that don’t involve as much pure muscle gain and bulk but more just strength and endurance
