If you mean a pc that can play the latest games at a constant minimum 4k 144fps, thats at least a few thousand. if youd be ok with 4k 60fps you could really cut down on the cost maybe 2500 - 3000 for everything. assuming no fancy shit like a huge monitor or a really nice case or high end water cooling setup with a massive SSD and shit like that.

Building a gaming pc is expensive as fuck right now. I think it has something to do with graphics card availability.

You can build a high end budget conscious system for around $1500 to $2k including a 1440p monitor. a good 1080p monitor is about $200.

You can build a good pc for 1000 bucks and then good monitors are so cheap these days, you could get a good low response time 1080p 60hz monitor for around 100 bucks, you could play modern games at 60fps with a 1000 dollar build. I havent built a pc in a few years but I know that even with all the new architecture and crazy gpus now you can still get a solid build for 1000 bucks, it wont be fancy and it wont look like a transformer but it will rum things just fine. What are you trying to play

You should be fine then with a build around 1000 bucks, none of those games are super demanding, I dont know anything about black desert but all the others will be fine, you could even get some of those up to 120fps 1080p with a few hundred extra. I remember when I built my pc in 2012 i was able to run counter strike go at 120 fps. You can see benchmarks for all kinds of games online and see how they run with various pc builds

Just hold off for now. Right now even low-mid end gpus are at least double what they were before. Just disgusting prices for something that is ultimately a waste of time, staring at a screen. Why spend 1000s to stare at a screen when you can wait and pay half when this shit calms down.
