How much does an antegonial notch affect appearance

I have it but it's not as obvious as this. I personally don't think they look too bad but from other perspectives how are they seen.

An antegonial notch could be a failo and a halo.

It's usually a sign of downward growth, but, also gonion eversion. Someone like Big Q has downward growth but since he has everted gonions he has an antegonial notch.

If you have downward growth instead of flared gonions [which may cause the notch] an CCWR would be an easy fix, and usually paired with bsso or bimax as a whole.

By CCWR yes. But we do not know the efficacy of mewing

Yea I have noticable downward growth too and have it as well, except i have a lot of forward growth as well. I've noticed that when you have too much maxillary projection, to the point where the mandible cant keep up, it causes a deep bite which slowly gets worse and worse [hence downward grown]. Which is why a bsso+ccwr is very efficacious here, to seal the problem

I think the root cause of all of my issues is maxilla recession, the rotation of it is great as the base of it is set forward but the top is quite set back.

What surgery would be good for this? As my case is suitable for marpe (history of dental crowding and narrow airway) which will expand it but idk how much it affects forward growth.

Brah it's downward growth. Easy ccwr job. Bimax if you want, also there is no nasal recession.

You dont really have an antegonial notch, it's the chin being downgrown, antegonial notch is way closer to the rami
