I’ve been doing topical minoxidil for some time and it’s been doing me good but I find it hard to do it every night as sometimes I sleep over at someone’s place and it’s just morning and night gets difficult I’d much rather take pills like vitamins but I’ve heard you get bloated and your collagen gets decreased. Can someone tell me if I should stick to topical or move to oral out of convenience and how can I avoid the loss in collagen and stop the bloat

Bro I've been doing 2.5 daily for about two weeks now, if there is any bloat it is unnoticeable, I had hollow cheecks before and still do now, I am 15%bf tho

No effect on your collagen that you’ve seen?

It’s individual-dependent but for most people it will just make their skin worse (more aged) and make them bloated

"Most" surely you have some legitimate data on that

From what I saw anecdotally… most people that I have interacted with about oral min said they had these side effects

Those who've had negative side effects are more likely to voice their experience. There's loads of threads on the lack of efficacy of phenibut but i don't know if that's the case for most people

That’s exactly why I said people I engaged with not from random thread of people who vented about their side effects. There are also a few people irl who used it that I know and 100% of them had severe to moderately degree of side effects from it, no one had it easy with oral min.

Imo you should just try it for yourself since there not enough data to actually know what will happen, if it has bad effects for you, don’t keep using it and vice versa

Nope, and I'm only 17
I think I’m gonna try it should I just get the dropper one instead of the pill and start with one drop first then move it to 2 drops. I read I’d save a lot of money by drinking it than getting the pill

You can hop on it and if you react bad to it then hop off (take a before pic to see if it actually got worse because it’s hard to tell while you’re on it)

I mean I’ve been on topical and my brows have grown significantly but like it’s just the convenience and then maybe lashes but right now I’m fine I also think my lashes are decently long right now it’ll depend how many more times I miss doing it 2x a day if it becomes more common I’ll start drinking it

Ive used 5 mg for almost 2 years and now am on 7.5mg.

Cant say theres any difference

Theres 0 studies showing it causes collagen loss in actual people. The in vivo studies showing collagen lose used an equivalent dosage of 5.6 grams, max dosage for hair loss that should be used is 2.5mgs...
