How much does ZSO cost?

Probably the kind of surgery one mentions but dosen't go through with,but still interested in the cost, due to me having to improve my upper maxilla atleast a bit after bimax.So what does it cost and are the results pleasing?

No, the results are pretty insignificant. That's why almost no one performs it.

Dosen't seem worth it at all,seems like implants are the only way to go,but I'll probably just get bimax with ccw and partial chin-wing and leave it at that maybe rhino to correct negative nose changes

The cut & movement of the ZSO is not conducive of an aesthetic result, given that it moves only the LOWER portion of the malar complex in the LATERAL plane only.

The reason malar osteotomies (MLF3) are so much better is due to the 3D projection one gets due to the movement being ROTATIONAL. Also, the cut is much higher and part of the lateral orbital rim is also mobilised.

There's no mouth on the cheekbone, so you can just get implants and your zygos will be indistinguishable from forward grown natural zygos.

With lower third you need double jaw surgery instead of implants though, cus your moving the jaw forward but leaving the mouth behind with implants.
