Clomid isn't an AI and doesn't lower estrogen. I doesn't even really block the effects of estrogen. In men it just increases your natural test levels and raises fertility.

DHT is a natural AI. So yes, you need to substitute it with another AI to prevent leydig cells (which produce T) from dying. Finasteride doesn't increase T.
You would also want to supplement with k2 mk4 to keep your bones healthy because of the low levels of both E and DHT.

When you're on the finasteride you can get gyno because even if your estrogen doesn't increase the dht is lowered. So basically your androgen to estrogen ratio is thrown off. So yeah you would probably want to take a very low dose of ai with the finasteride.
