I used to have a few hundred dollars worth not anymore since I've spent alot anyways time to leave with my signature poem.

if you don't invest right now in monero,
You'll be driving a taxi like Robert dinero,
What you miss out on you will never know,
But you'll be able to say oh I bought because that guys message I saw.

Monero cryptocurrency? About 3.6.

It won’t do shit, it’s basically a stable lol
Just like btc is a stable, the returns are insignificant. If you’re not a millionaire you have 0 reasons to ape in shit like btc, xmr and eth

Funny that, as soon as everyone became familiar with cryptocurrencies, and the institutions got in, the great returns suddenly stopped.

Moral of the story? Get in before everyone's talking about it. Popular assets make poor investments.

Easiest way to know when peak bullrun is in, when retail is coming and crypto is all over the news

Not only peak bull run, but also future return prospects-- you can forget about getting in now with little cash and expecting to get rich by investing in the top 20 cryptos. That wasn't the case in 2016, when virtually no one was familiar with the word 'cryptocurrency'.

I know, I meant that whatever you’re holding is gonna dump when crypto starts getting traction globally on news channels and overall media. Even if you pull a x1000 on some random memecoin, sell everything when the word bitcoin has been discussed on live television

That's true, but I don't adopt that investment strategy (market timing). I just buy good projects and hold indefinitely. But I am not under any illusions of getting rich at this point. That ship sailed in 2017. I just expect my cryptos to do a little better than the S&P 500.

BTC pumps, XMR dumps slightly, BTC dumps, XMR dumps massively
it's actually interesting to see how it has basically decoupled from BTC
it's also one of the only coin in the entire crypto atmosphere that has an actual use-case, and doesn't provide a "solution" for a problem that was created by the retarded crypto space in the first place

the technology is solid but that is exactly the reason why regulators and official systems are heavily against it, more and more exchanges keep removing it which is bad for price action but should tell you a lot about its utility

i think its a bad idea, investment-wise, still i hold some
