2-3 mil u can live comfortably off dividends but it would be painfully frustrating to have that money but never be able to make any big baller purchases without hurting your financial freedom so that makes me say 10 mil

Liquid means money you can actually use right now not money on paper like equity or realestate if you have a house worth 1 million usd fully paid it doesnt come under liquid cuz it is not something giving you money or even if you were to sell it , it will take time vs money invested in stocks/etfs which you can withdraw anytime you want in just a day or two

Where I live currently $500k is a fortune but if we're talking never have to work a day again then 2mil is more than enough, besides when you have 2 million dollars its so fucking easy to make more money at that point you can't really fail
