i used to have swarms of dandruff on my head but it stopped when I used the #nopoo method

• Shower with no shampoo everyday (don’t expect amazing results on the first day, just keep doing it)

•After shower, apply coconut oil to scalp, not the roots.

• repeat every shower.



Your head won’t stink by doing this method, just smells like coconut.

I started doing no shampoo a few days ago. The problem is, my hair gets really oily, so I have to wash it with water for 10+ minutes. There’s no way I’m putting coconut oil on my hair, for it’d be incredibly oily. doesn’t oily hair look unclean? Or does the coconut oil not spread up the hair shafts?

Your hair gets oily cos your scalps trying to overcompensate for your dehydrated scalp.

avoid hot showers cos it can also cause a dehydrated scalp plus damages hair

When you apply coconut oil, your scalp doesn’t feel the need to overproduce oil.

you’ve only started, it gets better eventually
