Sometimes more than an hour, it's almost an obsession at this point

Sometimes I look into my own eyes until my whole face is distorted and I look monstrous, am I the only one doing that?

How do you avoid doing it? Every time I see a reflective surface I feel the urge to stare at my own reflection, sometimes in admiration, sometimes in disgust, it's binary.

Yeah that's pretty valid. I was more talking about a compulsive way, like an urge to check your face out. Sometimes going out of your way to do so.

3 hours probably, a good portion of it being me trying to angle and lighting fraud until i have a good front and profile selfie or i cry myself to sleep

I do the same, it's ruining me I'm obsessed but I can't help.

I don't know if that's true, but if you're being genuine, I'm sorry

Ohh well that’s another story for me, i keep looking for any hair left on my face that shouldn’t be there. For example i keep my eyebrows clean so they’re more striking and shave everyday. Style my hair a lot too, looking at my reflection and still not very confident in what i am seeing, but oh well could be worse lol

Mmh ok I understand. It's probably more healthy that way. Honestly I think I avoid any reflective surfaces at all costs. Sometimes they ruin the conversations I have later on because I had the misfortune to glance at my face with a lightning that diminishes my appearance, making me believe I'm subhuman

literally a forever ongoing cycle
it’s like i expect to look better the next time i pass by my reflection just to look the exact same

I swear I feel like a fucking pigeon clicking the same button with it's beak on repeat hoping for a change, a reward. Looking, again and again and again

I kinda relate to you, for me it's ups and downs. Sometimes I look good and it ups my confidence just a little, but the second I think I look bad it plunges 10 times lower
