How much vitamin D should I take?

I heard most people here say you should take 5000 to 10000ui every day, but can this cause an iron deficiency?

This will be during teenage years btw
 
5000 should be alright for most people. you could do more for a while when you're deficient to get your levels up and then maintain.

iron deficiency is a meme if you are a big meat eater, you should actually be worried about iron overload!! (milk eggs coffee gelatin reduce iron absorption which is good)

it's fat soluble so technically no but if he takes 10k a day he will be fine
