How obvious is using BB cream as man?

Im new to make up and shit so I really don't know anything about these stuff. Currently I'm just using an lash curler but I want to incorporate BB cream to even out my skin tone and shit.

My goal is to wear make up and NEVER get caught. See with my lash curler, even on days I forget to wear it or days where I cant, people usually cant notice that I didn't curl my lashes. I am wondering if I can do the same shit with BB cream.

Like, if I wear BB cream everyday but stop wearing it for a day or so will everybody notice? or will they just think its a break out or som shit. Also can I apply it like you would with moisturizer

you can apply it like moisturizer but its very ccareful because you dont want it to be abrasive and irritate your skin and you also want it all to spread evenly jfl (missed the mark on that one too many times)

also by people noticing it you mean like noticing your skin got more shiny or that you were wearing make up

no, you just gotta be extra careful with how you apply the product making sure it doesnt get on clothes, doesnt bunch up, gets on your neck, etc

Just arrived and it lowk really matches my skin tone.

Only problem is that it’s flakey how do I fix this
if its flakey it means that your skin is moisturized enough or your sunscreen is too heavy

There’s three ways you can get caught

1. Using a product that doesn’t match your skin tone

2. Applying it over skin that’s not moisturized/primed properly. If you have flaky patches then the makeup will start cracking and become more apparent

3. Not blending it enough. Make sure it’s blended on the transition from your face/jaw to your neck. Make sure there’s no product clumped up around your nostrils, eyebrows, and eyelids. I’m super paranoid about making sure BB cream and concealer are blended well. Get a makeup sponge to blend it as well as possible, yes it feels gay but it works better than your finger.

Are you putting it over another product like sunscreen or skincare serums? Some products are incompatible with makeup and will cause “pilling” ie making the makeup not apply smoothly and flake/rub off.

Are you moisturizing before using it? Wash your face and moisturize while your face is still wet. Give the moisturizer a bit to absorb and then use the BB cream, it will go on perfect

Not obvious at all I wear it allot and nobody picked up on it ever. Just dont wear it if ur sleeping at a girls house or she is sleeping at urs obv u dnt want bb cream rubbing all over the pillowcase. Allot of them are pretty thick and in my experience could cause spots (not huge breakouts) but might just give u a little spot here and then.

Thanks so much nigga hard to get genuine good advice nowadays. Im new to makeup, but I’ll Probally try and get a makeup sponge. Also I don’t know if im gonna use it for my entire face yet, I want to start using it only for my dark spots and acne marks for now, but I’ll try to learn more and use it in my entire face

Nah I just applied it straight up on my dry skin to test if it matches my skin tone. But thanks for the tips.

Do u tan? I put bb cream on my face with slight (just slightly darker color) and been using fake tan on my body but it wears off on ur neck so quick. Do u think u could apply bb cream to the neck or it would just clog the hell out of the pores there?

Assuming your BB cream doesn’t have super heavy coverage (meaning it’s liquidy, not thick and very opaque) what works best is using it in combination with concealer.

In the mornings I do sunscreen, a thin even layer of BB cream on my entire face, and then concealer specifically on the dark spots/scars.

BB cream works best for making your skin tone more even overall but with just BB cream alone the imperfections on your skin can still be visible.

what is bb cream?

Apply only on smooth moisturized skin

Essential: put primer on before the BBC.

Not obvious at all , I use the brand Erobian . I exfoliate, shave and moisturize the skin before using it & apply small dots around my cheeks and forehead , completely undetectable

I just tried it again today, still flaky. It might because I have dry skin, or maybe I need a makeup sponge. It literally matches my exact skin tone though, so that’s a good sign.

How much should I apply? Like a pea size or thumb size

A pea size is about the amount I would use for one third to one half of my face. You don’t need much. Maybe watch some YouTube Videos on how to use BB cream

I'd say it's obvious if you're wearing it around people you know. Remember I had this tinted sunscreen, so it was part bb cream. My sister asked if I was wearing makeup, and she was across the room. She said she noticed because my face didn't have blemishes. Feel like it's obvious around women because they practice all that.
