how often should i take tretinoin

So recently i got some 0.1% tret cream from the doctor and don’t really know how often i should be applying it, i put it on 2 days in a row but my face is highkey burning now. is there any moisturizers or cleaners that are good to have with it?

any gentle cleanser that doesnt disrupt the skinbarrier, for example cerave hydrating cleanser

if u havent been on 0.025 or at least 0.05 prior to 0.1% ur doctor is retarded, do it maybe once a week for starters since 0.1 is as strong as it gets then slowly introduce it more often

and yes obv you need to be moisturizing, maybe even get some cisaplast baume b5 to repair the barrier when needed

Use it once every 2 days and gradually build up to every day. Dont use too much , a pea size amount for the whole face. Dont rush or the burning will get worse. Take a break until your skin feels better

go 2 days a week and switch to 3 if u think its not enough dont use twice in a row tho

and yeah 50+++ spf is really important even for UV low as 1-2 la roche posay one either invis fluid or the tinted one both are real good (tinted looks ass on me though)

go slow especially with 0,1. I used it once the first week then 2 times the second week until i use it everyday. for me there was no burning only a lil purging. and i recommend using mosturizer before and after too. also only aply a small amount. rep if helpful
